Terms of Service
Last updated: · Version 2026-09-25
These Terms are the agreement between you and Ivorn, the provider of Omnihorn. They cover your account, the files you distribute, plans and payment, and what happens when something goes wrong. The Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy, Data Processing Addendum, Refund Policy and Cookie Policy form part of these Terms.
1. Who we are
Omnihorn is provided by Ivorn (“we”, “us”), a sole proprietor (FOP) registered in Ukraine under number [[PLACEHOLDER: registration number]], with its registered address at [[PLACEHOLDER: registered address]]. You can reach us at legal@unicornfamily.dev for legal matters and support@unicornfamily.dev for everything else.
2. Accepting these Terms
You accept these Terms by ticking the box on the sign-in page when you create an account, or by accepting an updated version in the dashboard. We record which version you accepted, when, and from which IP address, as described in the Privacy Policy.
If you use Omnihorn on behalf of a company or other organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind it, and “you” means that organisation. Omnihorn is a tool for software developers and businesses; you must be at least 18 years old and use it for professional purposes. Where mandatory consumer-protection law applies to you nonetheless, nothing in these Terms limits the rights it gives you.
3. Definitions
- Workspace — the account unit that owns apps, builds, channels and a plan. Each workspace has one owner today.
- Your Content — everything you upload or configure: build files, app names and icons, release notes, installer designs, channel settings, and metadata sent by your CI system (such as branch and commit).
- Installer — the Windows installer and updater we compile from our own template for your app. It downloads Your Content onto your End Users’ computers and keeps it up to date.
- End Users — the people who install and run your application.
4. Your account
You sign in with a one-time link sent to your email address; there is no password. Anyone who can read your mailbox can sign in as you, so keep it secure. API keys and channel tokens are shown once — store them safely and revoke any that leak. You are responsible for everything done through your account, keys and tokens.
Give us an email address you control and keep it current. We may refuse sign-ups from disposable email services and limit how many sign-in links can be requested, to prevent abuse of the free plan.
5. The service
Omnihorn stores the builds you upload, signs a manifest of each build with your app’s signing key, serves the right build to each channel, and compiles an Installer that verifies and applies those builds on End Users’ computers. We compile only our own installer template — we never compile your source code, and your application files are not bundled into the Installer; the Installer downloads them after it starts.
We work to keep Omnihorn available, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and features described as preview, beta or “observe mode” may change or be withdrawn. We may change or discontinue features; if a change materially reduces what a paid plan includes, we will tell you in advance.
6. Your Content and the licence you give us
You keep all rights in Your Content. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, scan, hash, sign manifests for, compress, transmit and display Your Content only as needed to run Omnihornfor you — including delivering it to the End Users of your app — and to comply with law. The licence ends when Your Content is deleted, except for copies we must keep by law or that remain for a short time in backups.
You confirm that you have every right needed to distribute Your Content, and that distributing it through Omnihorndoes not infringe anyone’s rights or break any law, including export-control and sanctions law.
7. Your End Users
You are the publisher of your application and are responsible to your End Users for it, including its licence terms and your own privacy notice. The Installer sends us install, update and uninstall events and update checks that identify a random device ID, your app and build, the platform and the operating system version. We process that data for you as your processor under the Data Processing Addendum; you are responsible for telling your End Users about it and for having a lawful basis for it.
On the free Indie plan the Installer shows a small “Powered by Omnihorn” promotion. It disappears when the workspace is on a paid plan.
8. Acceptable use
You must follow the Acceptable Use Policy. In short: no malware, no infringing or unlawful software, no deceptive installers, no attacks on Omnihorn or anyone else, and no multiplying free accounts to get around plan limits.
9. Plans, limits and fair use
Each plan has published limits — for example on apps, channels per app, storage, monthly bandwidth, analytics history and team members. The current figures are on the pricing page, which forms part of these Terms. Some listed limits (such as team members) describe features that are not available yet.
When a workspace reaches a limit, we refuse the action that would exceed it — a new app, a new channel, a new upload. A change of plan or of our limits never deletes data you already have: existing apps, builds and channels stay, and only new uploads and creations are blocked until you are back within the limit.
If a workspace exceeds its monthly bandwidth quota by more than the plan allows, we may pause updates for its apps until the next calendar month (UTC) or until you upgrade. Installed applications keep working on the version they have; End Users see that updates are paused. Installer compiles are subject to a fair-use limit that protects our shared build machine; repeating an identical compile returns the installer that already exists.
10. Build retention
Old builds do not have to be kept forever. Our retention policy is that a build is deleted a set number of days after it stops being live on any channel — 30 days on Indie, 90 on Pro, 180 on Studio and 365 on Enterprise — failed builds after 7 days, and stored files that no build uses any more after a further grace period. Builds you pin are kept.
Retention is currently running in a preview mode that reports what it would delete without deleting anything. The dashboard shows when this changes and when each build is due; we will announce the date before deletion starts. Keep your own copies of anything you need to keep.
11. Fees and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance, in US dollars, and renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. Prices are on the pricing page. Annual billing (one month free) is also offered; the same rules apply per year.
- Buyers in Ukraine pay us directly through WayForPay. We are the seller; WayForPay processes the card payment.
- Buyers elsewhere — once available — pay through Paddle. Paddle.com acts as the merchant of record: it sells the subscription to you, charges and remits sales tax or VAT, issues invoices and handles refunds and chargebacks under its own buyer terms, which apply to that purchase in addition to these Terms.
Prices exclude taxes unless the checkout shows otherwise. A price change applies to new subscriptions; we will give you notice before it applies to a subscription you already have.
12. Cancellation, downgrades and lapsed payments
- You can cancel a paid plan at any time from the billing page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for; until then the plan stays active.
- There is no self-serve downgrade from one paid plan to a cheaper one while a subscription is active — cancel and subscribe again after the period ends, or write to support@unicornfamily.dev.
- If a renewal payment fails or a subscription ends, the workspace moves to the free Indie plan after a three-day grace period. Nothing is deleted; limits then apply as described in section 9.
- Refunds are covered by the Refund Policy.
13. Suspension, revocation and termination
We may, where we reasonably believe it is needed to protect End Users, third parties or us:
- revoke a build or an installer so that it is no longer served;
- suspend a workspace — its apps stop receiving updates and it cannot be used, while applications already installed keep the version they have;
- pause updates for exceeding bandwidth quotas (section 9);
- scan uploads for malware and refuse files that fail the scan.
Where the law and the situation allow, we will tell you what we did and why, and give you a chance to respond. We act without notice when there is ongoing harm, such as malware being distributed, or when the law requires it.
You can stop using Omnihorn at any time and ask us to close your account at support@unicornfamily.dev. We may terminate these Terms for serious or repeated breach. When an account is closed, the sections that by their nature should survive (licences needed to wind down, payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, governing law) survive.
14. Copyright complaints
If you believe software distributed through Omnihorn infringes your rights, follow the notice procedure in the Acceptable Use Policy and write to dmca@unicornfamily.dev.
15. Disclaimer
Omnihorn is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not review Your Content and do not warrant that software distributed through Omnihorn is safe, lawful or fit for any purpose — that is the publisher’s responsibility.
16. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from these Terms or Omnihorn. Our total liability for all claims is limited to [[PLACEHOLDER: liability cap — e.g. fees paid in the 12 months before the claim]]. These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for fraud or wilful misconduct.
17. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from Your Content, your application, or your breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, including reasonable legal costs.
18. Changes to these Terms
Each version of these Terms carries the date at the top of this page. When we make a material change, we publish the new version, tell you in the dashboard (and may also email you), and ask you to accept it before you continue using the dashboard. Corrections that do not change meaning keep the same version. If you do not accept a new version, you can stop using Omnihorn and cancel under section 12.
19. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by [[PLACEHOLDER: governing law and venue]]. Before starting formal proceedings, please write to legal@unicornfamily.dev so we can try to resolve the matter informally. Mandatory rules of the law of the country where you live continue to apply if they give you more protection.
20. General
These Terms and the documents they refer to are the entire agreement between us about Omnihorn. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a provision is not a waiver. You may not transfer these Terms without our consent; we may transfer them to a successor operating Omnihorn, and will tell you if we do. Neither party is responsible for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control.
